Date: 03 July 2007 Business Standard organized & hosted the “Open Sky” summit on 3rd July 2007 at Le Meridien, New Delhi. Bird Group and Amadeus were the silver sponsors of this event, which was widely attended by members from the travel, tourism & aviation industry, government authorities as well as media. Mr. Praful Patel, Honorable Union Minister for Civil Aviation in India was the chief guest on this ocassion. The conference addressed the future of Aviation in India and brought together expert practitioners on a common platform to share their future perspective and innovation in the specific vertical of security, air traffic and ground handling. Mr. Ankur Bhatia was the moderator of the opening session, as he provided an overview on the current trends in the aviation industry and also threw light on the growing demand for better security measures. The day-long conference culminated over cocktails & dinner.
